Slitting and cross cutting

The cables are laminated during a process which embed several hundred of meters copper conductors in insulating foil by using pressure and heat. The foils are coated with adhesive on one side and the copper conductors are parallel to each other.

After laminating the cable, there are 2 processes to give the final cable dimension: slitting and cross cutting. The laminated cable is slit in order to get the final cable width, afterwards the cable length is produced by a cross cutting process.
